Congratulations on your first flash pieces published. I have to admit I had never heard of flash fiction, but after reading your pieces I’m hooked. It’s amazing how much of a detailed emotional landscape can be gathered from so few words. (At least from a talented writer like yourself.)
btw-Love your fabulous new site! Gorgeous layout.

Thanks, Nancy! You’re too sweet
I actually just discovered flash last fall. David Miller had a really great piece published on Rumble, and then by happenstance, it’s the place that ended up publishing mine as well. You should definitely check out Fictionaut, I find so many of the pieces I write stem from nonfiction and are a good creative outlet!
And I’m SO glad you like the new site!

Congrats, Alyssa! That is so exciting having your pieces published. And, I really enjoyed them by the way (especially Sugar and Saline). I look forward to reading more.
That piece grew out of something written for Prof. O’Keefe….figures you would like it! Thanks for the comment.
